Director of Publicity - Shall handle all advertising outside our newsletter of NFBA
functions, and shall approach outside media and promoters of our functions.
Director of Membership - Shall handle all membership applications and keep accurate
records of all memberships.
Director of Merchandise - Shall order (with Board approval) and sell all NFBA
merchandise at NFBA functions and gatherings, and also at as many other Bluegrass functions
as possible. Shall keep our merchandise trailer for transporting our merchandise to and
from events.
Director of Newsletter Editor - Shall compile all announcements, features, etc. for
the monthly edition of the Midnight Flier. Shall be responsible for all NFBA fliers,
schedules, etc. relating to all NFBA functions and events. Shall be responsible for getting
permission to print or reprint any and all articles. (This position requires many hours each
month, and any person interested in this position must be computer savvy and have the time to
spend on these duties.)
Director of Assistant Editor - This position requires working directly with the
Editor and helping acquire articles and news items for the newsletter. Assistant Editor
shall be able to take over in the event the Editor cannot meet his or her responsibilities.
Shall pick up newsletters from the printer, place the address labels on each, and take them
to the Post Office for Bulk mailing to the membership
Director of Band Coordinator - Shall maintain information on all NFBA affiliated bands.
Shall schedule all NFBA Bands’ functions (IE: EXPO line-up). Shall offer NFBA Band lists to
promoters when needed.
Director of Historian/Web - Shall maintain NFBA web page in a professional and timely
manner, working with the Editor for date information, etc.
Director of Food and Beverage - Shall be in charge of all planned NFBA meals and
functions where food is served.
Director of Chaplain - Shall mail cards to NFBA members and shall send flowers to
funerals of immediate members.
Event Coordinator - Shall oversee all NFBA events to assure that they run smoothly.
