Mission Statement
The Purpose of The North Florida Bluegrass Association:
To promote and preserve Bluegrass music.
To serve as an authority and community resource on the subject of Bluegrass music.
What We Do
We promote Bluegrass music through jams, instructional workshops, concerts, community festivals, education, our EXPO (November of each year) and our monthly newsletter The Midnight Flier. We play traditional bluegrass instruments. Many of us pick and grin while others just listen and grin. We were unplugged before unplugged was cool. Some of our groups go into public schools to present our music to youngsters; Others perform our music at Health Facilities, Public Functions and Fundraisers. The association meets the 3rd weekend (3rd Saturday) of every month (except Dec.) at different locations each month. We invite you to join us!

Shall preside at all meetings of the association and the Board of Direc Hello and welcome to the official website of North Florida Bluegrass Association. The NFBA is a not for profit organization dedicated to the preservation of true bluegrass music. As you browse the site, you will find it both educational and entertaining, with the pictures being a testament of our love for camping, picking, singing and fellowship one with another. The membership gathers together on the third weekend of each month, with the exception of December, at a location selected by our event director. We also have numerous bluegrass bands within the organization that provide entertainment throughout the southeast for your listening pleasure. If you are not yet a member of this fine organization, please consider becoming one, and contact our membership director. Again, let me thank you for visiting our website.

Shall record the minutes of the meetings, maintain and have custody of the records and the seal of the corporation, conduct the correspondence of the association, receive all monies of the association, keep accurate record of receipts and expenditures, and shall pay out funds authorized by the association or the Board of Directors. All NFBA checks shall require two authorized signatures. No two officers or directors from the same family or household shall be authorized during the same term to sign checks.
